Dear Friends, Dear FKŻ Enthusiasts in Krakow,

The increasingly unstable political situation in the Middle East and the open conflict between Israel and Iran have forced us to make the painful decision to cancel the concert “Shalom from Kazimierz”, which was scheduled to take place on Saturday, June 28, at Wolnica Square.

Israel’s airspace remains closed, making it impossible for any of the many invited Israeli artists to travel to Poland, to Krakow. Aware that there is nothing we can do under these circumstances, we are left with no choice but to cancel the concert.

At the same time, we wholeheartedly invite you to all the other festival events: lectures, workshops, meetings, and concerts – many concerts! – which will take place at the Tempel Synagogue and the FKŻ Tent on Józefa Street. Please note that some adjustments had to be made there as well – you’ll find the details below.

Let us come together during these days and send a message of Love and Peace to the world.

22.00 – Songs of Mordechai Gebirtig/ Bester Quartet / Tempel Synagogue – concert without Maia Belsitzman

INFORMATION FOR TICKET AND PASS HOLDERS

If you would like to return or exchange tickets for concerts that have been changed (this applies only to: Songs of Gebirtig, Maya Belsitzman’s Shabbat Concert, Frank London’s In the City of God, and Cantors’ Concert) or those that are canceled (Maya Belsitzman’s Shabbat Concert only) – please contact us at bilety@jewishfestival.pl to request a refund or exchange for tickets to another concert. Tickets for The Ziryab Trio concert will be refunded automatically.

Tickets purchased for Maya Belsitzman’s Shabbat Concert on Friday, June 27 at 6:00 PM will remain valid for Frank London’s In the City of God concert, which will take place at the same time at the Tempel Synagogue.

Tickets purchased for Frank London’s concert on Friday at 10:00 PM at Hevre are now valid for the same concert, which has been rescheduled to 6:00 PM on Friday at the Tempel Synagogue.

The concert pass still includes access to all six concerts at the Tempel Synagogue. In addition, it grants entry to the following events at Alchemia:
– DJ Socalled on Thursday at 10:00 PM
– Klezmer Jam Session on Friday at 10:00 PM.
