Klezmer music and Yiddish songs celebrating friendship and continuity
The Strauss/Warschauer Duo and Zilyin Biret in concert with special guests Oksana Balatsko and Gosia Spiechlanin!
The beloved Strauss/Warschauer Duo returns to Krakow this year with a concert of klezmer music and Yiddish songs highlighting the way music – Yiddish music – forges bonds across borders and boundaries, ages and experiences.
Deborah Strauss (violin, vocals, dance) and Cantor Jeff Warschauer (guitar, mandolin, cobza, vocals) are thrilled to perform with their dear colleague Zilyin Biret (clarinet, vocals) and two young Krakow friends, violinists Gosia Spiechlanin and Oksana Balatsko (Klezmer Small Stars) who have studied and performed klezmer music at the Krakow Jewish Culture Festival since their earliest years.

kantor Jeff Warschauer – guitar, mandolin, cobza, vocals
Zilyin Biret – clarinet, vocals

A world premiere – the concert was commissioned by the JCF.
