Poor Poles Look at … 80 Years of the Tygodnik Powszechny Weekly

What were Christian-Jewish relations like in the past? What are they look like today? What has changed, and what remains difficult? And what role does the word play in all this – the press, public opinion, and debate?

On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of Tygodnik Powszechny, we invite you to a conversation about how the magazine has addressed Polish-Jewish relations: from the texts of the Turowicz era, through groundbreaking articles of the 1990s, to contemporary voices from the editorial team. At the heart of the discussion will be the question of where we are today – and where we would like to be.
